    The series I Was Here was made in the course of a study trip to Iran and comprises photographs of a mobile’s display. Using his mobile phone and without any artistic aspiration, an Iranian fellow traveller took photos of features and sights of his homeland. In turn, I photographed his pictures. I didn’t visit any of the places he saw.
